Buddha saves the Jade Girl

In the past, the Buddha only taught the Dharma in the Kingdom of Sarvasti.At that time, the son of the lonely elder had just married, and his wife was named Yuye. Not only was she from a famous family, she also had a good and solemn appearance, but because she was self-reliant and rude to her husband's family and husband because she was proud of her beauty.I thought about how to deal with this matter for the lonely elder couple. If beating and scolding is not a good deed, if she does not teach her, her sins will increase. Finally, I thought that only Buddha can perfectly transform her into jade.

So the elder came to the Primordial Temple and prayed carefully to the Buddha to educate him.After the Buddha agreed with mercy, he came to the house of the lonely elder the next day to offer sacrifices and took up his seat to preach.The elders respectfully bowed to the Buddha one by one, waiting by the side to listen to the Dharma, but Yu Ye was arrogant and refused to come out.The Buddha showed great powers when he pity her and suddenly his home turned as crystal clear as glass;When Yuye saw the Buddha's thirty-two characteristics and eighty kinds of goodness, he was shocked by his power and appearance. He felt ashamed, so he came out in panic and bowed to the Buddha. After retreating to the side, he folded his hands and lowered his head silently.

The Buddha told Yuye: A woman’s integrity does not depend on her appearance or not. If her husband is not in line with her, she cannot be called a righteous person, and a righteous person is the true integrity.As a woman, she has ten kinds of evil things, but she often unconsciously. Which ten kinds of things are there?1. It is difficult to raise your biological parents.2. Being pregnant is easy to worry.3. After birth, you know that you are not a boy and your parents are lost.4. It is boring when raising.5. Parents are always in charge.6. Fearing people everywhere.7. Worry about marriage.8. After getting married, you look apart from your parents.9. Always be afraid of your husband.10. Women are not allowed to be at ease.

After hearing this, Yuye asked the Buddha to teach the woman the etiquette.The Buddha said: There are five good and three evils in a woman's way, the so-called five good things: 1. Go to bed later than your family, get up earlier than your family, and cook delicious food to offer to your family.2. Don’t feel resentful when you are blamed.3. Be loyal to your husband and do not commit adultery.4. May your husband live long and serve him with all his heart.5. When a husband travels far away, he does not have any two intentions to manage housework.What are the three evils: 1. Being despised by your husband and disobeying elders, enjoying food first, going to bed early and getting up late, and being scolded by your husband, you are angry.2. Dislike the various things of your husband and miss the advantages of other men.3. I hope my husband dies early and can remarry.Yuye was speechless after hearing this.

The Buddha also told Yuye: There are seven kinds of women in the world: 1. Mother and wife, 2. Sister-in-law, 3. Knowledge women, 4. Woman, 5. Maid, 6. Resentful women, 7. Deadly women.What is a mother and wife?Love your husband and son-in-law like mother and son, and care is always in place and timely.What is a sister-in-law?Respect your husband and son-in-law is like a brother and brother, and has no two hearts.What is a knowledgeable woman?He serves his husband and husband with wise and earnest, tells him secretly, and violates his teachings, like a good teacher.What is a woman?It is important to provide for the husband and wife to do everything they want, to abide by the wife's etiquette, and to be harmonious.What is a maid?Be afraid and dare not be arrogant, speak rudely, be unwilling to be honest, be loyal and filial, respect your husband and son-in-law like the people and the king, accept the consequences, defend the hard work and endure hardship, and practice the way of women.What is an enemy wife?When you see that your husband is not happy, you will always be angry.If you want to stay away, your body and mind will be disobeyed.Be arrogant and distracted, and do not care about raising.Being lewd and not ashamed of being, always doing bad things.What is a deadly woman?I feel poisonous and hope to stay away.In order to avoid affair between outsiders and confidants, they hired others to harm them in order to seek a remarriage from their husbands.

The Buddha carefully told Yu Ye that the cause and effect were not at all happy, and the consequences of good women and bad women were revealed.A good woman can gain a good reputation, and her relatives will be honored, and the gods and gods always support each other.Wealth is born every day, and good wishes are always fulfilled.After being reborn, you will ascend to heaven, and you will come to the world again after the blessings and longevity of heaven, and you will be born in a wealthy and prominent family, with a solemn and respected by others.A bad woman will spread her bad voice and will not be at peace in this world.Evil gods and evil ghosts are disturbed, and often encounter disasters and diseases.I can't sleep or eat, and my wishes don't come true.Death falls into the evil paths of the three evil paths and suffers all the sins.If you are reborn in the world again, you will be difficult to suffer and have no chance of glory and enjoyment.And all of this is inspired by oneself.

The Buddha stared at Yuye and asked: Which of these seven kinds of women are you?Yuye couldn't help but feel sad, and shed tears in shame, and said choking: I am too stupid, so I don't like my husband and elders.In the future, I would like to be a maid and never be arrogant after my whole life.Then, he knelt piously in front of the Buddha, seeking to receive the Three Refuges, Five Precepts, and Ten Virtues, and wishing to rely on the pure Upayi behavior to correct his mistakes and change his good deeds.

After the Buddha's skillful guidance, he was happy and respected to the lonely elders' family.Before the Buddha left, Yuye knelt before the Buddha again, expressing his sincere repentance and gratitude, and promised to believe in and follow the Buddha's teachings.

What do we live on during the long years?Beautiful appearance?A prominent family background?Rich money?Or is it a knowledge of Boya?People are eager to pursue all kinds of things that they think can bring happiness, but they are distracted in it and create endless sins.Buddhism is a clear spring in life, washing away the long-defiled heart, allowing us to follow the truth and gradually move towards light.If you can calm down and carefully observe and follow the Buddha's doctrine, you will be able to have a deeper understanding of life and embark on a more meaningful trajectory of life.
