But before the Buddha's Nirvana, people's understanding of the meaning of the word "Nirvana" was not so accurate.So when the Buddha announced that he was about to pass away, his disciples were very sad.The Buddha comforted them and said, "You don't need to be sad. There are already many teachings I have taught throughout my life. As long as you can practice them accordingly, my Dharma body will always be in the human world!”

Before the Buddha's Nirvana, we were taught: we should always admire the Buddha's birth, the Buddha's enlightenment, the Buddha's teachings, and the Buddha's Nirvana.The important thing is to always be kind in the body, always be kind in the mouth, and always be kind in the mind.

Especially the following three passages reveal the key to the inheritance of Buddhism:

“All the monks!The six senses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind are mainly based on the heart. Everyone should control the heart well. The fear of the heart is even greater than poisonous snakes, evil beasts, and resentful thieves.It seems that a person holds a honey instrument in his hand, and moves slowly and is restless. When he sees the honey, he will be trapped without seeing the steps ahead.Indulge your mind, it is like a crazy elephant without a hook, and a monkey can lose all good deeds. Therefore, you must practice the Tao diligently and keep your mind in a quiet state.

All the monks!In the sea of ​​life and death, you must hold on to the ship of wisdom, cross the turbid current of ignorance and love, burn the light of wisdom, and walk through the world of ignorance and darkness.Only by always using the wisdom of listening, thinking and practicing can you enter the Three Demon Land.

All the monks!You must remember what I said and don’t forget it.I am like a good doctor, and I know the disease and talk about medicine. Whether I take it or not, the blame is not on the doctor;I am also like a good guide, guiding people with good ways. Those who hear it will not do it, and the fault is not guided.”

Buddhism focuses on spiritual connotation. The birth and nirvana of Sakyamuni Buddha are not very important and do not hinder his spirit at all.The Buddha was reincarnated in this world and showed the eight phases of enlightenment. The final nirvana was also one phase, which was all manifested by the Buddha's great power.Birth is also manifestation, and death is also manifestation. Birth is true and does not arise, and death is true and does not die.

The Buddha did not disappear, but was just pity for us sentient beings, because if the Buddha continued to live in the world, more sentient beings would fall than those who were liberated. Therefore, the Buddha showed up Nirvana.Then leave a method, which is full of Buddha's wisdom and compassion, which is the Buddha's existence in the world in another form.If we all have such good roots and believe that we can all be liberated by following this method.If the Buddha is in the world and tells us the method in person, it is useless if we do not follow the method.However, the Buddha left behind the method. If sentient beings can follow the method, they can also be liberated just like the Buddha who lives in the world.
