常有人，抱怨环境，叫人难以适应。

有识之士，教人适应环境，不要教环境适应自己。

学佛的行者，强调不要带着规矩行脚参方，尤其是不可反对他人的规矩。

修养，依吾人的身之作、语之言、意之动，难免缺乏“修养”的功德力；以至于造作行为时，多过犯、多散乱、多愚痴，所得后果，总不离“人、我”伤害的缺憾。

因此，环境的大前提，建立于“人、事”两个重点；于是，人生的道途上，为人与处事，便成了必须学习的两大课题；或者说，就是生命与生活所组成的人生哲学。

众所议论，为人、处事，何者最难？

有的说；做事容易做人难。

但是，深刻的探讨“人、事”二者，互为因缘，关系紧密；也就是说，有人便有事，有事便有人，因人而缘事，因事而缘人；人与事，原本是分不开的，就像是生命与生活。

如果，分别“人难事易”或“人易事难”，则如同“生”的“命、活”或“活、命”，其互为因缘的事实，任谁、任何道理，也不可能使其分立，或是辨别难易。

因此，构成环境的“人、事”两大要素，既然是如此的休戚相关；身为“人”的你我，就不可能隔离环境，或者不跟环境打交道。于是，环境的适应性，便成了必须修养的课程；就像是如何维护自己的生命与生活，使得人生的道途，如何跨越坎坷，如何行的稳当。

前面提到环境的分别，在于心境的差异，这里举一禅门往事，述说在于“心境”的机要；思虑看，有何感想？可能发生甚么心得?!
