How does reincarnation occur? Because there are karma - good karma and evil karma.Karma arises from afflictions, and afflictions arise from the self-attachment.Therefore, the root is ego.How can we transcend the cycle of reincarnation? Only by eliminating the ego will we eliminate troubles, and only by eliminating the troubles will we stop creating karma. If we stop creating karma, we will end the cycle of reincarnation. This is called transcending the cycle of reincarnation.This also depends on wisdom. With the wisdom of realizing selflessness and emptiness, one can eliminate ego, and ego can eliminate karma. Without karma, one will not produce reincarnation.

Another point is that our mind is often distracted, with delusions and discriminations, distracting thoughts arise one after another, and troubles arise immediately.How can we not have delusions and make no distinctions? We must return to our own nature.

When you return to your own nature, you will no longer have delusions or discriminatory thoughts.What is returning to the self-nature? Returning to the self-nature means seeing the ultimate reality of all dharmas and seeing the self-nature of the mind - the original face.If you truly understand the true nature and be able to settle naturally, this is returning to your own nature.

Only by returning to one's own nature can one stop delusions and discrimination.In the past, discriminating thoughts would be constantly generated in the continuum, and it is impossible not to have false thoughts.Our minds have always been in a state of confusion and distraction, and it is impossible to feel true and eternal happiness.To truly gain freedom or permanence of the mind, you must return to your own nature.
