Compassion without discrimination is great compassion

On the basis of knowing and repaying kindness, we must cultivate great compassion.Why do we say that we are compassionate? Although people have compassion, including those animals, this kind of compassion is not the compassion mentioned by the Buddha.

The Buddha talks about great compassion, which is undifferentiated and boundless: all sentient beings are the same as their current parents, and all sentient beings are the same as their current children. I sincerely hope that they can all be happy and stay away from pain. This is called great compassion.

The compassion that we ordinary people possess is distinct and limited: we are compassionate to our parents and children in this life, but we do not compassionate to all sentient beings - parents and children in our previous life.Why is this? It’s because of confusion.Because I do not understand reincarnation, and do not believe in reincarnation; I do not understand cause and effect, and do not believe in cause and effect.Such a sense of enlightenment is not generated in the continuum, so the mind cannot be relaxed and the door of the mind cannot be opened.

Let me tell you that the Dharma Realm is your home, and all sentient beings are your family, and they cannot understand or understand.

Why? Because there is no basic enlightenment in continuity, there is no view of reincarnation and cause and effect.So I tell you that the basics are important! Great Madhyamaka, Madhyamaka, and Great Perfection are not important.

The Buddha first talks about the six realms of reincarnation and the three realms of cause and effect.All living beings have countless past lives and next lives.The principles mentioned by the Buddha are based on the concepts of reincarnation and cause and effect.This basic concept is very stable and no one can break through or overturn it.The more I learn, the more I understand: no one except Buddha can explain the cause and effect of the six realms of reincarnation and the three realms of life.The mystery of Buddhism is here.Many people don’t understand. When it comes to dependent origination and emptiness, when it comes to great light or great hand seals, they all think it is extraordinary and think that this is the true Dharma.Actually, it’s wrong! The roots of all Buddha’s ideas are in the six realms of reincarnation and the three realms of cause and effect, and many people still haven’t studied and practiced carefully.

The ancestors of all generations have made it clear that knowing mother, knowing kindness, and repaying kindness are the basis of the four immeasurable minds. Only with such a understanding or concept can you develop right view and four immeasurable minds; only with four immeasurable minds can you develop vows and practice bodhicitta; only with vows and practice bodhicitta can you achieve Buddhahood.This sequence is very clear.Why are you still so stubborn? Sometimes I can’t figure it out, and sometimes I can figure it out because this is the karma of sentient beings.Why does the Buddha say that sentient beings are hard to become strong and difficult to understand such a simple principle and cannot do such an easy thing? Because of ignorance! In fact, it is very simple. If your mentality is adjusted, you will be perfect at the moment; if you have less desires and contentment, you will be happy at the moment.But why are you not satisfied and still pursue happiness? Because of the upside down!

At the beginning, the Buddha talked about the ignorance and confusion of sentient beings, but I didn’t quite understand it, but now I understand it.I have tried my best to persuade everyone many times, but I didn't accept it very much! Because sentient beings have deep karma and lack blessings! Although I have encountered and obtained such a good opportunity to study Buddhism and practice, I do not cherish it, cannot make progress, and just live by myself, and missed everything.Isn’t this stupidity or reversal?
