According to the Vinaya Sutra and some Mahayana teachings, he cannot stay in the monastic community. This does not mean abandoning Bodhicitta, nor does it violate the practice of bodhisattvas.
In some Buddhist colleges, those who break the precepts, destroy the vows, and those who are mentally abnormal cannot live with the monks.This is not the Bodhicitta of giving up the Bodhicitta, but the Buddha personally gave it to him in the Mahayana and Hinayana sutras.Some people are too extreme - "People with abnormal mental states and those who break the precepts are sentient beings after all, and they should be allowed to continue to destroy discipline in the monastic community."This is completely falling aside, not the secret meaning of Sakyamuni Buddha. Is his "compassion" more than the compassionate Buddha?The great masters once said in unison: "The great compassion and bodhicitta cannot be abandoned, but in order to promote Buddhism and cultivate a pure monastic community, they must be practiced reasonably and truthfully in accordance with the karma rituals in the precepts.”
